From 9 January 2019, people wishing to register as jobseekers and thus benefit from ADEM's services no longer have to physically visit one of the 7 regional agencies. All they have to do now is call the ADEM Contact Center or fill in an online form to request a registration appointment.
14 408 jobseekers, residing in Luxembourg and available for the labour market, were registered with ADEM on 30 November 2018. Compared to November 2017, this represents a decrease of 1.352 persons or 8.6 %. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, calculated by STATEC, is at 5.2 %.

As part of the HR One gala, which took place in Luxembourg on 22 November 2018, the programme "Luxembourg Digital Skills Bridge" has received the "Talent Management Award". The jury was composed of representatives of the Luxembourg HR community.
