Erasmus+

The new Erasmus+ programme aims to support actions in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020.

Erasmus+ provides financial support for a wide range of actions and activities in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

The aim of this programme is to give students, trainees, staff and in general young people under 30 years of age, with or without a diploma, the opportunity to stay abroad to strengthen their skills and increase their employability.

Who can benefit?

The European Erasmus+ programme is aimed at a large number of people and organisations.

The organizations

Many organisations can participate in the Erasmus+ programme: associations, institutions and those whose activities are supported by the Erasmus+ programme.

Individuals

Individuals (students, apprentices, young people, teachers, trainers, etc.) can benefit from the Erasmus+ programme by contacting their institution or a participating organization.

Individuals cannot benefit directly from the Erasmus+ programme. They should contact an organization regarding a project funded by the program.
For example: a student will have to apply to his or her institution (e. g. university) and apply for a scholarship.

In Luxembourg, Anefore asbl is the national agency responsible since 2007 for the implementation of European programmes in the fields of education, training and youth.
