Number of jobseekers increases by 32.2% compared to last year
On June 30, 2020, 19,876 resident jobseekers were registered with ADEM. In one year, this corresponds to an increase of 4,839 people, or 32.2%. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate calculated by STATEC is 7%.

Deadline for submission of the cost statement for short-time working COVID-19
Employers must submit the detailed cost statement (décompte) within three months of the end of the month in which the short-time working occurred. For short-time working in March 2020, the detailed statement must be submitted by 30 June 2020 at the latest.

The number of available resident jobseekers registered with ADEM was 18,398 on 31 March 2020. Over one year, this represents an increase of 2 728 people, i.e. 17.4%. The unemployment rate, adjusted for seasonal variations, calculated by STATEC, is 6.1%.

As of 29 February 2020, 16,652 resident jobseekers were registered with ADEM. Compared to the same month of the previous year, this is an increase of 1,144 people, or 7,4%. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate determined by STATEC was 5.5% in February 2020.
