On June 30, 2020, 19,876 resident jobseekers were registered with ADEM. In one year, this corresponds to an increase of 4,839 people, or 32.2%. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate calculated by STATEC is 7%.

To reduce the risk of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19, ADEM continues to offer most of its services by telephone or e-mail. For a limited number of services face-to-face procedures are required.

On 20th January 40 jobseekers received their certificates for successful participation in the "Words4Work" training course. This is an intensive French language course tailored to the language used in various professions.
