Ministry of Labor, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy

The responsibilities of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy hold two distinct major political parts. They are:

  • on the one hand, areas of actions relating to employment;
  • and on the other hand, the areas of labour law and professional relationships.

The ministry is responsible for the development and direction of the policy in these fields and the general coordination of the work. The ministry also drafts the legislation concerning these fields of activity.
