Official launch of the Digital Learning Hub Academies: 30 jobseekers registered with ADEM are already benefiting from these programmes.

On Tuesday 16 June 2026, the official launch of the Digital Learning Hub Academies took place, attended by the Minister for Education, Claude Meisch. Thirty jobseekers registered with ADEM have already benefited from these programmes.

In response to a digital transformation that is redefining the skills required in the labour market, Luxembourg launched three specialist academies within the Digital Learning Hub in April 2026: the AI Academy, the Cybersecurity Academy and the Quantum Computing Academy.

These intensive, project-based certification programmes – open to both jobseekers and employees seeking a career change – aim to train the next generation of experts in fields where demand for qualified professionals far outstrips the available supply. For ADEM, this partnership with the Digital Learning Hub represents a concrete means of upskilling, enabling jobseekers to be guided towards future-proof careers with strong employment prospects.

As part of this partnership, ADEM has enrolled 30 jobseekers in the Academies, which launched in April 2026, across three promising sectors: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and quantum computing.

Out of a total of 913 applications received, 81 participants were selected, representing a selection rate of 8.8 per cent, including 30 jobseekers registered with ADEM. The participants, who registered via ADEM, are broken down as follows: 14 in the AI Academy, 10 in the Cybersecurity Academy and 6 in the Quantum Computing Academy. 

These academies offer an intensive blended learning programme, structured around practical projects, with daily progress reviews via stand-up meetings, lasting between 4 and 7 months depending on the academy and specialisation chosen, as well as a flexible programme designed for working professionals, lasting between 4 and 14 months. Recruitment was carried out in collaboration between the DLH, the Training Development department and the ADEM training department.

This initiative is part of a wider trend: in 2025, ADEM recorded more than 3,800 registrations by jobseekers for training courses at the Digital Learning Hub, involving 703 individual jobseekers.

The next session will begin in April 2027. Registration will open in November 2026 at dlh.lu/academy.
