Notice regarding the processing of personal data by ADEM

The ADEM, which is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national legislation.

The ADEM processes the personal data in order to fulfill its statutory duties (i.e. Labour Law: Personal data is also processed for statistical purposes and stored as part of public archiving. In these cases, the most appropriate security measures are taken (anonymisation, pseudonymisation or encryption).

The processed data, or parts thereof, may be passed on to ADEM’s partner organisations, provided that this is done for or required by legal or contractual provisions. These organisations are, for example, other ministries and public administrations, public bodies, vocational training institutions, professional chambers or contractual partners of the ADEM.

Users have the right of information, access, rectification, denial or restriction of use, appeal to decisions made on the basis of processed data and deletion. ADEM undertakes to comply with these rights as far as possible, subject to the exceptions provided for by law.
