Launch of the “Skills-Plang” Program to Promote Employee Training in Companies

The Ministry of Labour and the ADEM are officially launching the Skills-Plang programme, which supports companies in providing targeted training for their employees and adapting professional skills to the current changes in the world of work.

At a press conference, Labour Minister Georges Mischo officially kicked off the new initiative:
"Skills-Plang helps companies develop and remain competitive, while at the same time strengthening the career prospects of their employees."

Programme Objectives

The Skills-Plang programme is aimed at companies in Luxembourg undergoing significant changes due to digitalizstion, ecological transition, or evolving market demands. It offers:

  • Analysis of the company’s training needs,
  • Identification of employees affected by changes in their roles,
  • Development of individual training plans (upskilling / reskilling),
  • Co-financing of training costs and employee remuneration during training periods.

Eligibility

Companies that have been established in Luxembourg for at least three years and whose employees are affected by operational changes are eligible to participate. The training measures must cover a minimum of 120 hours.
