ADEM awards the label « Entreprise, partenaire pour l’emploi » to thirteen new companies, bringing the number of employers involved in this programme to 23

ADEM today organised a ceremony to award the "Entreprise, partenaire pour l'emploi" (Company, partner for employment) label to thirteen new companies committed to professional integration, in the presence of the Minister of Labour, Marc Spautz, and the President of the Union des Entreprises Luxembourgeoises (UEL), Michel Reckinger.

The ten companies that had already received the label in September 2025 were also represented, providing an ideal opportunity to promote dialogue and share experiences and best practices in the field of labour market integration.

A public-private partnership promoting employment

The Luxembourg labour market is currently experiencing a slowdown: more than 21,000 job seekers were registered with ADEM in January 2026, while net job creation is slowing down. At the end of January 2026, the ADEM had just under 6,000 vacancies on its books, down 8.7% on the previous year and as much as 56% compared with June 2022, a period marked by post-Covid economic growth.

In this context, the long-standing partnership between ADEM and UEL is of particular strategic importance. At the heart of the current programme, ADEM's certification of a number of companies with recruitment needs as "companies, partners for employment" is a major lever for professional integration.

"This scheme is based on mutual commitments. Companies make a concrete commitment to reserve a certain percentage of their recruitment for job seekers registered with ADEM and to set up automated exchanges of information about their job offers with ADEM. For our part, we are committed to implementing tailor-made solutions for companies, according to their needs. For some companies, this will involve organising JobDays, recruitment workshops or tailor-made training courses, while for others it will involve establishing regular dialogue and advising them on their skills needs," explains Isabelle Schlesser, Director of the ADE.

The label « Entreprise, partenaire pour l’emploi »

During the ceremony, thirteen new companies were awarded the label: Auchan, Centre Hospitalier du Nord, Centre Hospitalier Émile Mayrisch, Clearstream, SRB Cocottes, Elisabeth, Forvis Mazars, Husky, Kronospan, LuxCargo Handling, Onet, Post Luxembourg and Reckinger Alfred.

They join the first ten companies that received the label in September 2025: Banque Raiffeisen, Cactus, Concept & Partners, Hôpitaux Robert Schuman, Hornbach Baumarkt, La Provençale, Luxair, Panelux-Fischer, Sodexo Luxembourg and Stëftung Hëllef Doheem.

The label recognises companies that are committed to inclusive recruitment and social responsibility, while making a concrete contribution to the professional integration of job seekers.

A collective commitment to employment

"The future of our labour market depends on our ability to be open, inclusive and innovative. The more we can refine the match between employers' needs and candidates' profiles, the better we will be able to provide companies not only with the skills they need, but also to combat unemployment effectively," Michel Reckinger emphasised.

Labour Minister Marc Spautz highlighted the significant political and strategic impact of this initiative: "This label is much more than a symbolic distinction. It embodies a clear political commitment to an active employment policy based on shared responsibility, reliability and sustainable integration. It reflects structured cooperation between the public and private sectors, capable of creating concrete prospects for job seekers while strengthening social cohesion.

"A modern employment policy cannot be limited to matching labour supply and demand," he insisted. "It must promote real and sustainable integration into the labour market. The integration of job seekers is a collective responsibility that involves the State, businesses and society as a whole. Employers who participate in this programme fully assume their role in promoting equal opportunities, skills development and inclusion.

"Because work is not just a means of subsistence. It is a vehicle for participation, autonomy and dignity. Working means actively contributing to the economic and democratic life of our country. In this sense, an inclusive employment policy is at once an economic, social and societal policy," the minister emphasised before awarding the trophies.

Through this new award of the label, ADEM reaffirms its commitment, alongside its partner companies, to supporting access to employment and meeting the needs of the Luxembourg labour market.
