As an initiative of the European Commission launched in 2004, the EURAXESS network is composed of more than 200 service centres in 40 countries. Its purpose is to support researchers in their free movement, whether they are nationals of the European Union or third countries.
To this end, the initiative has four complementary components:
- EURAXESS Jobs is a platform for the publication of job offers and funding related to research. Researchers can also publish their CVs online.
- EURAXESS Services is a network of more than 200 centres in 40 European countries. These centres help researchers and their families to plan and organise their stay in their destination countries.
- EURAXESS Rights provides all information concerning the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for their recruitment.
- EURAXESS Links offers interactive web services to European researchers working abroad in order to maintain contact between them and with Europe.
Euraxess Luxembourg provides information and assistance to mobile researchers. This portal contains practical information on working and everyday life, as well as information on work and financial opportunities. Euraxess Luxembourg helps researchers and their families to plan and organise their move to a foreign country by providing assistance in all matters related to mobility.
All EURAXESS network services are free of charge.
