The granting of short-time working under the so-called "structural, simplified short-time working schemes" introduced with the aim of helping companies to maintain employment during the COVID-19 health crisis will end on 30 June 2021.
These schemes were governed by the amended Act of 17 July 2020 introducing a series of measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
From 1 July 2021, access to short-time working will be defined in accordance with the legal provisions set out in the Labour Code, Book V, Title 1: "Preventing redundancies and maintaining employment".
In other words, access to short-time working may be due to cyclical or structural economic problems, for reasons of force majeure or economic dependence
